Meg Carlson Joins Other Selection Committee Members Chosen for Their Diverse Experience and Expertise
Boise, Idaho - Meg Carlson, co-founder and principal of The C&H Group, has been invited to serve on the Selection Committee of the 2005 Intermountain Venture Forum ™ (IVF) for the third straight year, following successful direction of the committee as its chairperson in 2004. Carlson joins other Selection Committee members chosen for their diverse experience and their expertise in business leadership, technology, and finance and early-stage company development. The IVF Selection Committee administers the competitive process by which the area’s most promising companies are chosen to present at this year’s Forum, set for October 5 and 6 in Boise.
Presented by the Boise Valley Economic Partnership, IVF brings together presenting companies with prospective investors and partners from around the western United States. Now in its seventh year, IVF also features panels of leading experts in venture funding and angel investment. The 2004 Forum included 13 presenting companies from six western states and more than 25 of the West’s top institutional investors.
Carlson actively contributes to furthering the development of the entrepreneurial community in the greater Boise Valley through her participation on the boards of Kickstand, an entrepreneurial support group, NAWBO, a mentoring group for women business owners, and Boise Rotary Club, a worldwide service group for business leaders.
