Intermountain Technology Group, a Boise firm founded in 1982, has a new owner. The information technology services company on Emerald Street in Boise was purchased by Minneapolis-based Corporate Technologies. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Corporate Technologies CEO Jim Griffith said in a release that Intermountain Technology Group has established itself as a leader in project-focused technology services in Idaho and seven other states. Corporate Technologies views the acquisition as an opportunity to both enhance its services and provide the Boise company’s customers with additional resources and expertise, he said.
Intermountain Technology Group owners John and Alistair MacMillan said in the release that the acquisition benefits clients and employees. Corporate Technologies provides a broad range of technology services and national coverage, is growing, is investing in its employees, and is a leader in delivering managed services, they said.
The 26-year-old Corporate Technologies fields offices in California, Michigan, North Dakota, Minnesota, New Jersey and Idaho.
The expanding company, which employs more than 200, said it is one of the country's largest providers of managed IT services for small to midsized businesses. It also offers custom technology system support, Voice-over Internet Protocol and PBX telephone systems, computer networking solutions, repair and warranty services, and systems integration and consulting.
